Nytros the Cat does not use a Hyvo chain.Here is a pic Hyvo on top and cat silent chain on bottom. Hyvo is a mod alot of cat guys used. Stock on a Nytro and maybe the Viper?

Yamaha has used HYVO since the SX Viper for sure (unsure of the later SRX but I can check the parts manual if you like) and I have been in my buddies 12 Cat to do gear changes (gearing down to reduce stres on the belt) and it is HYVO as well.

True statement! I did notice a lot of parts that said arctic cat on them but I'm holding out faith that yamaha will make those their own. Otherwise I guess I can wear my orange sno pro coat on my red viper. Lol.

Look at the pic. Maybe your buddy updated his but Hyvo is not stock on a ProCross. Aftermarket only. Do a search.

Just got back from the Cat parts site. Silent chain was pre diamond drive or 11 wide Silent for reverse in the post diamond drive.

Yes. Thanks. Supposedly the silent chain is fine as long as its a quality chain. Some of the cat guys went as far as deleting reverse just to use the Hyvo chain.
