I need help, I keep having error code 81 even though I unplug all the grip warmers (driver's and Passenger), thumb warmer and I still keep having error code 81 and may be draining battery because of this, any help I will appreciate it very much, as where I live there is no certified Yamamechanic.

If you unplug the grips, it will send a code to the ECU and Gauge, it has to have a completed circuit in order for the code to go away. I would guess you need to get new grips warmers.
