Excell "X" Wheels are in!

Does anyone know if Excell has plans to make the rear axle wheels? I'd like to get these wheels next season but would like them to match front to back.

Rear wheels are in the works, just haven't decided how to go at it yet as the Monoshock II suspension rear wheels take different bearings than the standard Proactive, Monoshock, etc does.

Great service from the folks at Ulmer !!

The 1st set of hyfax lasted 100km's before they hit the line . With the wheel kit I have over 900 and no signs of wear . My sled rolls fee and easy

Awsome, thanks for the reply Allen ;)!

Allen, would these help slider wear on the old attak if even if i didn't add extra wheels? Just updated my 4 idlers?

Two things on the XTX kit concerns me.....

1. The wheels are $30/EA. If your getting 6 that's $180 in wheels which means your charging $105 for 2 extra mounts?????? Doesn't add up.

2. $285 can buy a LOT of hyfax!

CK Daul Shock 144 8 wheel kit with mounting Hardware $285.00
Fits: Fx Nytro XTX, 2011 Apex XTX
This kit fits all 144 Dual Shock CK suspensions.

XTX you get 8 wheels total with 2 extra mounts.

8 x $29.95 = $239.60

Mounts Yamaha # 8ES-47419-20-00 = $12.21 x 2 = $24.42

Bolts Yamaha # 90105-10737-00 = $11.03 x 2 = $22.06

Washers Yamaha # 90201-105H3-00 = $5.22 x 2 = $10.44

Nuts Yamaha # 95607-10200-00 = $2.72 x 2 = $5.44

Total if you were to buy it individually $301.96 for all wheels, mounts, bolts, nuts for the 8 wheel kit on the XTX.

You are missing two washers unless you want the head of the bolt directly against your rails.

I was actually expecting 90214-10003-00 x 2 "Claw Washers" but I ended up getting 4 of the ones you have listed (I did order from Excell). Either way it works but it brings the kit price a little bit lower again relative to that of purchasing separately.

Either way, $285 might buy a lot of hifax (about 5 sets for me) but it won't pay for my time and absolute aggravation in changing them or the cost of trips ruined when you wear them out quickly. These wheels are worth it so far as in about 400 km I have 0 wear on a brand new set of hifax.

Oh well I don't really need them anyway since putting on the marginal kits from Yamaha my hyfax wear is pretty much under control now.

they work well and look nice on the sled.

I waiting to see if my marginal wheels destroy themselves. I haven't sustained any long wide open runs for miles on end yet and those little marginal kits I have heard tend to blow the wheel apart so if that happens I guess I'll pick up a set of these.

mine didn't last one season and are destroyed, in the scrap bucket now.

Just replaced all my idlers on my '08 Vec'LTX. Much better setup now. Pulled the skid and replaced my mono-cable and slides as well. Should be good for another 3 seasons. :)

Hi allen, what is the advantage to these over stock wheels,i have the apex gt 06 if i wanted to convert all small wheels to my sled, sense i already have the mounts, would it just be the price of wheels??
