I just replaced the 6 on my xtx, they do stick down further. I can't wait to try them on the trails!

I'm guessing that RX wheels are different then Apex wheels! Because all I did was press out the bearing on the polaris wheels and press in the Yamaha bearings from the wheels I took off my 05 pro action skid.

Now I hear people talking about machining shafts to fit the polaris wheels to an apex. I still have the 6 Polaris wheels in the shop. When i upgrade to a newer Apex those will not fit?

What is the difference between 06 to 09 Apex and 05 Warrior wheels?

Just ordered my X Wheels. Looking forward to bolting them on and chucking those useless OEM wheels. Then again, can save the old OEM wheels for chew-toys for my boxer!

Although they don't say so, I have a feeling that these are basically Doo 135mm wheels withn 6205 bearings. As per their description for one of them:

"Hyfax Saver (inboard) w/machining
Send us your center shock bell crank and aluminum wheel collars and we will machine them to fit our custom oversized wheels."

This is the typical modification required when using Doo wheels in this position. The Excell wheels are meant as a direct bolt in replacement without any machining or replacement of the mounts, therefore, lower cost.

SRX would the 6 wheel kit that comes with the mounts work on 08 phazer to replace the 4 wheels and add 2 more to the front of the skid ?

Good stuff. Thinking I'll upgrade mine when my bearings gives out. Currently running my original Proaction wheels with a monoshock suspension.

Why not change the rear wheels with the increase diameter too?
