I have been looking at purchasing a complete exhaust system for my 2015 R-TX 129.
EVO
Hindle
MBRP
I have made up my mind for a few reasons but the biggest reason was $ Coin (price).
I don't know if anyone has Dynoed this set up with MBRP header and Sandale muffler but this is the system I'm going with. I asked Mike (Sandale Fabrication) to weld on a extra bung for a AFR sensor but I don't know which controller to go with.
Also because the header is shorter than the stock one I'm wondering if it is a good idea to block off the tunnel?
Next will be which intake to go with?
Excell
Ulmer
Also wonder if Ulmer racing has tried the MBRP header with his set up ? Any in-site would be great thanks Bruce

My favorite is of course...mine...lol - http://www.ty4stroke.com/threads/air-box-mod-updated.132519/

My last air box I made is on the way to Canada to be ran in the "Cain's Quest" race.

I believe Ulmer plans on running most of the big name exhausts available on the dyno to see the results. I myself went with the hindle slip on and have the mbrp header with Ulmers pcv and clutch. The mbrp header appears to be the best value on snow right now. I installed the mbrp header but was not able to ride the sled after I got back from vacation as all the snow was melting.

Thanks Nytro40th
Spoke to Allen myself great guy to talk to and you are correct will be testing all brands and possibly new air box mod. I will wait and see what his results are for sure. Thanks Bruce

IMO, I don't think going this route is the best way to save a buck. Mixing and matching components can be a lot of trial and error. I would stick with one companies kit, whether it be Hurricane, Ulmer, Excell etc, as they've been thought out and are already dialled in to get the best results and usually you get the best price by getting the entire kit from one place...not to mention customer service if an issue arises...makes trouble shooting easier.

I spoke to Allen Ulmer and he is going to be trying all exhaust manufactures out there very soon and has a new air box mod coming soon. I will wait for his results and go from there. I have not purchased a MBRP header pipe yet but I have ordered a maxflow 7000 from Sandale out of Winnipeg .

Still trying to decide which header pipe to go with mbrp or hindle because of availability, also waiting patiently on Allen Ulmer racing for dyno results. I have purchased a maxflow 7000 muffler from Sandale and my sled is apart and I want to get it back together. I know boat season is around the corner but I can't wait to get my sled back together with some mods.

we have complete Hindle systems instock. These systems with our airbox mod and mapped pcv will make you 18hp.We also have a clutch kit for this combination. This was developed on the dyno and perfected on trails
