FAIRVIEW SHOOTOUT

IS ANYONE ELSE GOING TO THE ANNUAL FAIRVIEW SHOOTOUT THIS WEEKEND IN FAIRVIEW UTAH? ALL OF THE HOTTEST SLEDS AROUND WILL BE THERE, AND MANY OF THE AFTERMARKET COMPANIES LIKE PSI WILL BE BRINGING THEIR FASTEST SLEDS. LAST YEAR THE 1800'S WITH NITROUS WERE THE FASTEST SLEDS UP THE HILL, I GUESS WE WILL SEE IF THEY CAN RUN WITH OUR TURBO RX1'S.

Climbmax and the boy's from cbs performance will be there.Look for the sweetest looking Rx-1 there and you'll find them,probably wearing blue yamaha jersy's from the revelstoke shootout last month.

I can't wait for Painter's new movie to see how the RX-1 Turbos do againtst the big iron 2-strokes. The thing I liked about his first film (Mountain Mod Mania) was the lack of sound tracks and more footage with just the noise from the sleds (compared to others). I didn't care for the BS sessions though.

Ken; Greg and the crew had a booth at the World Expo in W. Yellowstone in March. They told me that MMM 2 will be out around Aug. or Sept. I am just assuming that there will be footage of the big iron shootout and the Fairview shootout just like MMM 1 It's going to be tough to beat the stunt they pulled with the sky riding on that 340 Indy Polaris but rumors I have seen on SW hint about they have a 200 + ft cornice/cliff drop :shock:
