I just bought these apparently usi put any other ski manufacterer up to a challenge to build a faster ski,and nobody compares! 2 to 4 mph quicker than stock ! does any one know how these handle or if there's any truth to the speed of this ski!

I would be a little bit skeptical about the benefits of that ski without seeing an unbiased scientific test done to prove it. They say that the stepped bottom is modeled after race boat hulls, however the fact that a technique works on a boat hull doesn't mean that it'll work on a ski. The dynamics are completely different. Thats not to say that it isn't faster *under some circumstances* (possibly slushy snow where the dynamics approach water), just that a product's manufacturer is never an unbiased source of information, and neither are the mags, since they promote products because they're PAID to.

The ski's work but I suspect it is because of there ability to keep the tips flat. At high speeds standard ski's will tend to lift because of the tips and this slows down the sled. You can see my firecat with stock ski's at 117mph the ski's are floating and my RX-1 at 150mph the ski's are flat. The railers are ok in the trails and useless in deep snow.
