121"? or the XTX? If you did 112 on a 121, then that is impressive, because I don't know too many that have done that. Only the XTX model seems to be able to pull that.

Yeah I agree with the whole speedo thing Yamaha so who knows if that is a true 112....highly doubtful but still..
SledFreak it is a 121" track....this is the highest speed I have heard out of a stock Nytro and I know a handful of guys in the area with Nytros that haven't seen over 110mph.....that was the first it read 112mph but I have seen 111mph numerous times....hahaha probably all track spin...

Why would a XTX run a faster top speed than a 121", i would think that with the extra weight in track that it wouldn't be able to pull the top speed of a 121"?

111-110 speedo is 106gps on my 08. But have seen 114 speedo couple times. Wonder what it would do with the suspension tied down? That should be good for at least a couple mph?

A longer approach angle makes for less rolling resistance on the XTX. Atleast thats what i figure.....

This has been covered to death & verified; myself being one person who has owned both sleds. XTX 144' long track is 6-10 mph faster then a shortie nytro. I have owned both sleds & verified it on GPS on my test track on very similar conditions. Better approach angle = more effecient drive train = greater top speed. This was the exact same issue with the Polaris older style sks & RMK.Snoxracer242 said:SledFreak said:121"? or the XTX? Maybe this year....my personal best 100% stock everything including all stock suspention settings 117 Mph/189 Km'h speedo (GPS 112mph) I was 265lbs with gear!!!!
Now this year I lost 45lbs off my beer gut and did the mods listed below....my goal is 200km speedo or 120mph GPS......ulmer says I should pick up 6mph with the mods putting me at 118mph and the 45lbs weight lost hopefully will be good for 2mph....well soon see I guess

It possible for the nytro to beat the apex!? Cause my dads got the apex, and i think it would be great to hold him off on a race
