Akdavo, I have the 2100 springs that will be for sale as soon as I get my expert-X. I'm 200 lbs and jump alot and they have been on the softest setting. I paid $326 for both but will sell them for $250 if you want them. It will cure the bottoming issues.

I'm in for now. Wanna check on the Ohlin setup cost but I trust your judgement. You might become my one-stop shop for hand me downs. If I buy the track and springs are you willing to help me with the install?

I will help with the install. Trust me, you'll want the 2100 springs. The 1500 won't even be close fo your weight. I still bottom the 2100 springs on G-outs but I have them on the softest setting.

AKDAVO,
Someone will correct if I'm wrong, but, I think the mtx suspension is the same setup used since 2005. My rear shock was toast in 500 miles. I researched for a while and found the rear shock from the Venture GT is a rebuildable HPG type and fit perfectly. Now, I have too stiff a rear suspension, but, I'm not going to complain about it. Talk to your yamaha dealer. I think it will work.

what year venture gt??? ski

Anybody else with a set of big boy spring they are getting rid of??
Looking for more out of my 05RX MTN. 250# plus gear, I could use some extra bounce!!
