Finally, a rear suspension that just works... Cheap Too!

How have they held up for you? I am very interested in going that route cannondale. Would I just use the stock spring on the shock at the front end of the skid?

They arent mine but no issues as far as I know. They would hold up as good as any FOX.As far as the spring I dont know. What you are going to need to do is call Deycore and explain to him what you are doing.I havent talked to him about it.

Alright thanks abunch..i'll def. look into that. We still have their card with info on it from when he did my dads SRX shocks. Finally a possible cure for my bottoming blues

Otherwise Bruce at Beeline suspension does all my stuff. The advantage with him is he now has alot of time into the Phazer and understanding how it works

Thats a good point.I basing my advice on Roic saying the Skidoo shocks work well on ours.Deycore knows the Skidoos and is very reasonably priced.I have no idea what he knows about Phazers. For me when I bought my Axis knowing the guy was actually riding a Phazer was a very big plus and turned out great.Tayz looks like you are the guinea pig on this one!

Man I love bein in that position. yam177 can you give me anymore info about Beeline? Maybe some pricing, and shock options. Do you guys think i could get by just replacing the very back shock? the one without the spring? That one appears to be the one that sucks.

Have an hour of free time when you call. LOL Bruce know his stuff. He was the Yamaha race set up guy for a while

I found a set that i might buy, the ad says..... BRAND NEW set of REV Chassis X-Package SC-4 Suspension Shocks for Ski Doo 121" Track Sleds. Will these be the correct ones?? They are for a 121" so i assume they are for a 440

As I type this the skid shocks from my wife's 07 FX are at Carver Performance to be re-valved. I asked them to build the internals utilizing Doo's "Multi stack" calibrations. I have spent a lot of $$ with Hygear and along with their hardware came a shock re-valve. It provided for a much better than stock ride but still the sled did not feel as good as a REV.

After reading this thread in the Apex/Attak section http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=56313 I decided to let Carver set up my OE Yamaha shocks.

Hopefully I can report back a couple weeks from now with a similar "Skidoo feel" ride from our FX.

I had a chance to try out the sled after Carver's re-valve.

WOW...What a difference!!

Mike Carver re-valved the OE fx shocks and now this sled rides like we thought it should from the start.

I asked him to make it ride as plush as a Doo GSX. He called me when he had the shocks taken apart to inform me that the valving done at Hygear, while firmer than stock, was still only 1 stage valving. He set them both up with 2 stage valving saying that more stages was likely unnecessary since my wife rides this sled (not aggressive at all.)

Now I have her shocks at the softest clicker settings when she rides and have the option of clicking up for the few times a more aggressive rider climbs aboard.

I have run the shocks from this sled with 3 different valving setup's and this multi stage from Carver's is by far the best.

There is no need to replace your shocks with Ski Doo shocks if they are rebuildable. Have them valved like Ski Doo valves their shocks and you end up with the same performance for less $$$. Including shipping both ways I spent $184.00 and have Ski Doo shock performance from my Yamaha hardware.
