Finished the install last sat at 6;00p.m. and left sun morning for a 1000 mile trip through Quebec and northern ontario, brought three srewdrivers , a couple of wrenches and a couple of clamps, didnt need any of the above, it performed incredible, first night on plowed strip i saw 152 mph on the speedo, she rocks, gets awfull hot in there though, i can light a cigerette off the turbo after stopping, doesnt seem to bother it though. The only bad part of the hole trip was having to open the hood to let the heat out after stopping, people see it and want to talk forever taking pictures and stuff, every stop ends up being an hour long! running the inch and a quarter ripsaw with 196 studs, still breaks loose and ya half to ease off, running heavy hitters with 73 grams and a 54-46 helix wound to 90 degrees, it revs 10,400 , nothing i have raced yet has even came close yet, the zr900s are so far behind you loose sight of them in the first 10 feet, man lifes good!

Sounds like good news! how was the install? Did you have any problems? Wondering if I can undertake the task myself. What did it end up costing in canadian funds?
thanks
thanks
Dano, the install is pretty basic but time consuming, the only glitch was the fuel pump placement as the system was designed for an rx1 without reverse and mine has reverse,i placed the fuel pump under the intercooler instead of up on the right side were the reverse linkage is, i had installed a turbo before on my mxz 670 but this was much more involved with more parts, much of the assembly was done by cpr so its very simple once you watch the included video,i would say it took about 20 hours, i could likly do the next one in about twelve, maybe less,it ended up costing me about 6200 canadian with shipping and some extra clucthing parts,it was well worth it.

Vcrash, how was the fuel consumption during your trip. Sounds like you had fun with it..Was opening the hood to let the heat just a precautionary step on your part or a recomendation form CPR. Was the clutching supplied or somthing you developed..
i used about 3 liters per 100kms more then the stock rx1 that was traveling with me, there was also a rev600 with us that used about 8 liters more then me, the clutching basicly consisted of a stage two kit with differant helix and some extra weight on the hitters to keep the revs down, i havnt had much time to play with clutching yet, but i am pleased with my initial setup

Thanks Vcrash..Sounds like you have the best of both worlds..Is the heat going to be an issue with this setup..I have distorted many hoods with aftermarket pipes being a little to close.
The heat shields were not ready when they shipped the initial system and i had to go on that trip so i made my own which did the job but apperantly the ones for the system will stop any heat related problems. they should be here any day
