5 inches in Park Rapids could'nt resist :D The new skid is awesome takes the bumps beautifully! I felt more bumps in the handle bars than i did the seat. No comparison to my 03 and i havn't done anything to the adjustments yet ;)! The ripsaw track has so much better hookup than that crappy finger track hit the throttle at 40 and the skis lift right off the ground. Followed the breakin per the book so far but sure is hard to keep myself under control 40 more miles and on to stage 2 :D So far i rate the 05 a 9.9 out of 10 awesome ride can't wait to get her broke in so i can really see what she's got ;)!

03 is nice and fast and gives you plenty of room for customization. There's really not much difference. Different suspension on the back, different calibration of the front. You only need the cooshy suspension if you're a softy like gramps (above) ;-).

Damn kids today give us old farts no respect :tg: LB you must be close to graduating eh! must feel pretty good ;)!

Oh yeah and its Cushy not Cooshy LOL

Convert after listening to u and all the guys on how good the RX1 05 is I can tell u i have had more fun on my 05 RX1s than I did putting 7000 + miles on my F7 and the bad thing is I havent even rode it yet. Keep the info comming. I can't wait to ride this sled. You guys are great. :D

Ya if this no snow sh___t keeps up, my 05 will have the shinest tunnel of them all. I spent two hours out in the garage today shining away with mothers. We have our annual first ride planned for next weekend in the UP. I was told today that at my camp just 20 minutes south of shingleton there is only 2 inches of snow. I was also told that the only place with alot of snow was up by Tequaminam (spelling) falls. I sure hope they get hit hard with some lake effect this week. Pray for snow.

Kinsound, I have an '03 and it rides better than my old SRX or V-Max 4. Power is decent and milage is good. No more two smoke. I've ridden once this season. Hope this helps you.

Hey LB,

Can you tell me how the front has different calibration?

i to got to take my o5 rx-1 for a ride around my field today, 6" snow fell last night " i studded my track last night just 96 up the middle" and installed my simmons ski`s had dealer put clutch kit in at dealership before i picked it up. all i can say is wow it rips and will stand right up when you crack the thottle open and seems to pull very good. ride feels great hard to tell "no bumps" i was worried i may not be happy because i loved my warrior but i think this sled will be awsomme ....

Hey LB,

Can you tell me how the front has different calibration?

Different springs - straight rate 110 lb/inch,
Swaybar - 11mm instead of 10mm
Swaybar links - 1 inch longer than 03.
