Not sure I would have been pinning the flipper to the bar on any sled under 100 miles, but its your toy.

Your fuel mileage will improve greatly as the sled breaks in more. Thats the one thing that all of us 08 owners had in common.

First under 6000 rpm's is a joke...that's 35mph....just couln't do it, but I really tried.
Second a varried the throtle lots (witch I think is the most important thing), up and down constantly, I did the samething with my Attak and it ran great and never burnt a drop of oil.
I think its going to be a fast one, seeing that I've already seen 104mph on the speedo in very wet snow, and a tad over 8800rpm's....Im loving it...

How were the skis as far as handling they were stock weren't they. Or was the snow not really deep enough to tell how they will float. Anyway great pics and thanks for the review. Same as everyone else just can't wait.

They were great the garvel and rocks didn't go all the way thru the ski's :o| . We need a base first to really tell but so far things are looking great.
Jumped into a few ditches and this things rock and go where I ask it to. My Attak on the other hand would tell me where it wanted to go.

Power was Great, she would lift her skis and 50mph....something my attak could never do.

Some more pixs enjoy :-o

Wow, thats alot of snow/ice build-up.

I know and I was kicking it off during the ride....the Firecat and Apex didn't have any snow build up. Hope this does not become an issue.

I thought those footwells would expel more snow than what your pics show! How was it going from packed down areas to fresh pow with the longer track? Is the turning like a 121" or does it actually feel like a long track.

As you break the motor in you will have 100+ miles a tank from that sled! 88 miles a tank with under 100 miles on the sled in those conditions is awesome in my opinion.

Well snow was wet, so maybe the footwells will work better in normal conditions.

As for turning that hard to answer as there wasn't much of a base and if pushed hard you would dig in the gravel. The 121" Apex was very lose in the rear end the XTX turned great and kicked out its #*$&@ end at will,, at no times did it feel too long but that being said love to compare it to a 121" Nytro

My last ride in April this year I went about 80 miles in wet heavy snow conditions and my light was on about the last 5 miles back to the trailer. That was definately my worst milage of the year.

And a WARNING, after my low fuel light turned on I was out of Gas 11miles latter. My apex you could drive 30miles with the light on!!!
