*First ride and review XTX | Nov 26th,08 | Lots of Pixs*

I'll be sure to look for your sled up on Tug Hill. You guys are lucky to get so much snow. Be sure to keep it all there for another 2 weeks, then we'll all enjoy it. Come on December 17th

They bolt right on. They just a little narrower than the stock at the bottom but you can put a spacer in there. I didn't bother. Get them from a ski doo dealer or on ebay. I got mine at the big east show part number 505072102. Just put the tip bolt in first because you have to flex it a little to get the bottom bolt in.

UPDATE, light snow -6c soft loose snow pack (slow conditions)

my XTX was hitting 99-100mph speedo (95.3 mph GPS) 4-5mph error

Same rider on an Apex GT 112 Speedo (99 mph GPS) 13mph error

and yes he has a very strong running GT has hit 122 on GPS.\\

so we are 3.7 mph differance on top end tonight

I was even with apex RTX out there but we didnt GPS him

on a drag race we were the same out of the hole, but his mid range was killing me and our top end were close he was just slowly pulling on top end.

My best top speed so far was 111mph speedo (106 MPH GPS)

So far my biggest fear coming from an Attak was missing Top end, so far I'm very happy cause my attak was slower than the GT I raced tonight...again very happy with the top end so far....

BTW I have 500miles on the sled and its stock other than 114 Studs

Hey Daranello, how bout an end of year review after a season on the XTX? I sold my Apex GT and I'm looking at getting an XTX for next year. I trail ride mostly in Quebec and here in Western NY...two very different conditions most of the time and my thoughts were that the XTX would handle the WNY trails much better, but feel like I just sold a great sled for riding the big trails in Quebec. Do you miss your Apex when doing long days of trail riding, and would you buy the XTX again or go back to the Apex?

I thought at the end of the year Id miss my apex....but after getting on my buddys Apex...It just felt wrong and old...very hard to describe.....but I would never ever go back.....this XTX is my perfect sled.

2000 miles and nothing broke, original slidders too!!! and its allot faster on top end then I was expecting

My new personal best speed 117 Mph/189 Km'h (GPS 112mph) forgot to look at my RPM's
conditons were -6, hard crusty lake snow, light north wind.

All stock, Med sheild, 114 Studs 265lbs rider..... 1860miles on the XTX

I'm still trying to crack that 190km mark and I know its now posible once condition improve..

Here's the old video post of my 114mph runs http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=73195
