First Ride

I will be taking the new black beast out for the first time this evening after work, should be fun. Any tips on the break in period?

Give it 25 miles of in & out of the throttle!

foloow yamahas instructions on break in....did that with my warrior...ran great never burnt a drop of oil

I would also highly recomend following Yamahas instructions in the manual. They give you plenty of chance for wide open throttle, Just not for long runs at first. My RS rage came around after 1000 miles. Not one drop of oil ever added. If you carefully read the break in instructions you will be able to give it some pretty hard running just stay within there limits. lots of differant rpm is the ticket along with some warmup to full temp than cool off a few times before the first ride.
