I bought some of these and threw them in the tank being its almost put her away time. has anyone used these in the past , riding yesterday with them in for a week it ran real strong as these are suppossed to help with performance but as a rule I am not a believer in snake oil remedies! mostly bought them to stabalize the fuel for storage....

There is a long standing thread on these that is probably in the top 10 threads of all time in terms of controversy. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=5785

Wow that is a long post! as for the performance part of it I really don't care I bought it to keep the fuel fresh and eliminate problems next fall. I'm a Deere dealer and the stabil stuff we sell isn't worth pouring in, the fuel still goes bad. this gets us to the other question leave fuel in the throttle bodies (carbs) or not???? I usually run them dry but some say not to do that?
I use to run dry every year never had a problem. Now i dont do anything with the fuel!!

We haven't tried the Fitch "yet" but with our high dry climate, we have to store the sleds wet, they do much better. The Stabil has worked well in my experience.

I'm a firm believer in a good leaded fuel for over the summer storage. I run the tank low at the end of the season and add some C12, C16 or just add some AVGAS...oh yeah thats what was in it already

I'm running the FITCH in my '08 since new, if you want my honess opinion...it ain't worth the money, for performance (105'ish mph on GPS bone stock) and gas milage (15 to 17 Imp.mpg) I think its BULL, for keeping gas fresher...I'll comment next fall.
If it DOES keep fuel fresher and keeps things cleaner OK yeah its worth it who can confirm that, I still have a lot of CARBON at my rear exhaust outlets for 1 thing and like I said I'm not getting any better top speed or gas milage than anybody else that I've been reading on this site.
