Did anyone else notice the picture on page 72 of the March 2004 SnowTech magazine under the section called "Improved RX Ergonomics"? The picture shows a fourth wheel kit installed on the RX-1, but no mention of this in the review. Is this now a standard option?

It is a nice thought, but when the production sleds arrive without it Yamaha will say (that was a prototype it is subject to change).

My curiosity forced me to contact SnowTech yesterday and I learned that the photo was actually provided by Yamaha as a representation of the 2005 RX-1. So it seems Yamaha accidentally provided a picture of the stock RX-1 with the fourth wheel installed.

Yamaha provided the picture to SnowTech. It appears Yamaha sent the wrong picture because SnowTech is not aware of the 2005 RX-1 coming with a stock fourth wheel. I also checked the Yamaha web site and all 2005 models show only three wheels per side.
