I have a new to me 2016 Yamaha Viper XTX SE 141" with the Fox Float 3 air shocks front and back. Can anyone please recommend air pressure settings? I go about 225lbs riding weight and stick to groomed trails. thanks

65 psi in the skis and 175 psi in rear, sled must be off the ground to set pressure.

I knew the skis had to be off the ground to set pressure in front, does the skid need to be off the ground to set the rear pressure?65 psi in the skis and 175 psi in rear, sled must be off the ground to set pressure.

not sure about single or dual for the OP. Just found the Fox info illustrative, seems a few of us are trying to understand these air shocks.

None of my shocks are dual chamber and I think the max air in the rear at least us 150. The previous owner, who was about 180lb had the rear set at 135.

Rear I would start at 135 most likely run it more towards max if your aggressive rider. You can always take 5 lbs out at a time to get it plush until it start to bottom and then put 5lbs back.

Hey thanks Mr. Sled! This makes alot of sense in light of where the previous owner had the pressures set at. Now all I need is some snow.
