How many of you have already installed these shocks on your current Viper and noticed any contact marks on the panels where the plastic meets the top of the reservoir? I've seen some awful wear marks on the RR Cats and it worries me some that this may not be addressed for MY15.

With Yamaha introducing the new R-TX LE with factory installed Fox Evol RC2 front shocks, I'm concerned that this would be a wear problem down the road. Thoughts?

I have them and there is no contact anywhere. If you install them on the wrong sides the bottom tube will contact the steering arm at full compression.

By the way they are not marked :o|

The high speed compression adjuster nut can rub on the side panel when the shock is bottomed out. Not a big deal but mine are marked up a bit.

That's exactly where I see the contact happening. Where the adjuster nut and side panels come in contact with each other on full compression.

I guess it will have to be something to live with I suppose.

Thanks guys!

pretty normal mine have some decent gouges

What i'm curious to know is what people are running for pressure in the main and the evol chamber?
