Fox Float 3 evol RC2

I also spoke to a rep today. They do care and he gave me the impression that the "mistake" is still being discussed. He had no idea if any kind of resolution would be arrived at though. I am quite certain that we will never see our shocks swapped for RC2's, but I do think that they will offer some kind of gift card or perhaps another year of warranty. If anyone out there is listening, given a choice I would prefer a gift card.
Yeah me too I already have 5yrs of warranty

For me the answer is simple.

1) A heartfelt apology/admission
2) a set of DSC valves
3) a set of Kashima coated parts for the fronts

I'll take care of the rest when I have the shock valving set to my specs.

TD, what do you think the chances of that happening? You'll get two and three before you get the first one, and two and three are slim to nothing.

Do some research on the 2st Vipers. They got new shocks. Don't remember what was said as for a apology though.

I thought this may make you guys feel better. 2015 shocks off a XC race 600 cat. They got knobs and lost hi lo also. If they are racing these I would think they are going to work.

I was at my dealers open house today and my rtx le is being shipped on nov. 11. He realized that Yamaha dropped the ball on this one so when my sled comes in he is going to send the shocks out to get the dsc put on three of the four shocks. F&S Yamaha does a great job at keeping their customers happy even when they have to eat it. They are a site sponsor and great to deal with and I will highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sled. Thats why I drive by three other Yamaha dealers and go 130 miles one way to buy from them.

Wrong. Lol. They were a site sponsor. No longer feel the need to advertise on TY.

Yeah, it was real nice of them! He said they ordered seven of the rtx le's which was the most by any dealer in the country. I'm sure they're getting dealer discounts but I'm sure it's going to cost a couple dollars anyways.

Maybe if they didn't have to pay for yamahas mistake they would have more money for other little things like sponsorship. Who knows:dunno:

My shocks are at Fox Midwest getting converted to what they should have been. I have had absolutely ZERO response from Yamaha so far. Pretty disappointing not even a response. I think the negative exposure may ramp up a bit next month ;)

I filled out my delivery survey. You know the thing that burns me up the most about these stupid surveys? They don't give a rip about satisfaction with the product. They only ask about the dealership experience. I filled out openly and honestly giving my dealer good to excellent marks. I used the final line to blast Yamaha
