Free upper chaincase gear shim!

First off want to thank all that chimmed in to help me in my other thread “ sidewinder came out of gear at 100 km “ which i posted sunday night. i got a new upper gear reverse gear and shift fork shoes ordered monday and i put it sll back together today.
I took Godspeedswe advice and shimmed upper gear. I now have the exact size shims needed. I had 5 extra made and will give them to the first 5 of you who ask just a thank you for all the advice in mthe last month with my new/used 2018 sw ltx le.
Rockerdan helped me slot too!
After the 5 are gone i can have more made 5 bucks each.
You guys can txt me your info

I highly recommend everyone put the extra shim behind the upper gear just my 2 cents

I missed the reason for the shim. Not saying it’s right or wrong but what does the shim do? Move the gear to run further out/inline with the chain? thank you. I will take one if your willing to send it to USA.
