If you are like me, you need to change out the upper and lower ball joints on our Nytro.
Here are the Yamaha part numbers you need:
Upper heim joint (qty 2): 8GK-23549-00-00
Lower Ball Joint (qty 2): 8HK-23579-00-00
Collar (qty 4): 8HK-23754-00-00
At first I looked for aftermarket parts because Yamaha wants $80+ for each ball joint however, I was able to find them on WWW.partzilla.com for $55 each and the collars are $7.50 each. Just thought I would pass this along and hopefully save a few people some $$$.
Thanks for the heads-up Grizztracks!!!

Check this thread for the lowers. Cheaper than anything Yamaha has to offer:

I was getting decent mileage out of the newer Yamaha joints. I had the original o8's replaced under warranty and ran the replacements until last year when I installed Mountaintech a-arms. I'm a little skeptical about the quality of the cheaper version. They may be no better than the original 08 joints that wore out in one season. Sometimes cheaper isn't better but I'm sure in time we'll find out. Whatever you decide to install I recommend using a good dry film silicon lube to help prolong there life.

+ 2 on using the dry silicon lube as Grizz stated. I also have switched to the MountainTech A-arms and won't have to buy the Yamaha ball joints any more. Pete from mountaintech told me his a-arms use heim joint rod ends from speedway motors (better quality and a lot less money).
