So I was removing the fuel line from the gas tank, when pulling out that little black holding tab on the fitting it ended up snapping in half. Does anyone know if you can buy just the black holding tab or have a fix that will work to hold the fuel line on secure until the dealer can get a new fitting?

Following, mine cracked too...but seems to be holding solid

Haven’t checked for the sidewinder but you can buy just the white fitting that comes with the black plastic piece for the viper, it’s the same thing and not very expensive.

Alright thanks, I found a part number for it when looking at the 2015 Yamaha Viper parts diagram. Hopefully its the same as the sidewinder, I will order and find out. Incase anybody else wants the part # for the white fitting I will post it.

White Fitting - 8JP-F4304-00-00
Clamp - 8JP-RAB08-00-00

Anybody else looking to buy just the clip I have located a replacement rather then doing the whole fitting. The clip that will work is made by Dorman and fits Ford / GM vehicles. I bought a pack from Canadian tire, the three white ones wont work but I had to buy an assorted pack of the two different types since I wanted the clip for today. You can buy just single clips at any auto parts stores. I will attach a pic. of the package.

A zip tie work's great, or zap strap for you Canadians:D

mine had a slight crack, but after seeing this post I stopped by the local auto parts store. The Black "Ford" style clip fit perfect. I bought it separate for $3
