Fuel Mileage

Both our N/A Vipers get about 10 miles to the gallon. But, we ride through the trees and such, actually the Viper gets better mileage than our Nytros did

13-15mpg using 87 I have made 130 mi more than once but if I know I am going to be cutting it close I usually will baby it and I am sure mileage is 15 or better then.

You should average about 112 miles per tank - again, it depends how hard you are on the throttle and what snow conditions you ride on. I've had as poor as 75 miles on a tank breaking trail, and as good as 140 miles on a tank driving like an old man. When you fuel light comes on, you should have an average of 20 miles left in the tank - less in adverse snow conditions. Those are my numbers.

Just did a 150 mile ride today on my 2007 Attak. I was riding with 2 800 ETEC Renegades. The Doo riders elected not to gas up at the 1/2 way mark so I followed suit. My low fuel light was on for over 20 miles! Good news is that I did make it home without fueling up. I figured the Attak did well as my tank is 2 imperial gallons smaller then the Etecs.

Ride normal about 130-145 miles ride hard 120 or so with different spring. Stock was not quite as good but close almost exact same as nytro.

Was on the TY ride December of 13 left the hotel with full tank ran plum out at 83 miles YamahaTim had to go get me some.

Usually about 14 MPG. Thought I would push it today, because I had never seen my low fuel light on, and wanted to make sure it worked. Light came on at 128 miles. Back to the trailer I had 144 miles on sled. Filled up on way home, and took 10.2 gallons. I thought these were 10 gallon tanks? Wonder how much gas I still had in tank.

Did a test last year in the up, sled shut down at 123 miles. that was completely full to zero. keep in mind i had extra fuel on the tunnel. If you guys want a sled that gets excellent fuel mileage, the viper is not your sled.

My sled and my buddies XF800 get almost the same, just over 10mpg. We both ride very aggressive. Usually only get 85-90 miles between fill ups. I have 835 miles and he has 1050 or so. When Im riding with other people at an easy cruise, its gota be 15 or better. But I really haven't checked on those days.

I did a hand calc twice this past week, 16.6 and 17 MPG with the Hurricane 190 kit. Thats with 21/41 gearing.
