does anyone know what fuel pressure should be on an rx 1 turbo (has Bender stage 1)? I normally run at 10 lbs of boost, but have problem and engine won't develope over 6000rpm and wont at that level won't develope any boost. I hooked up a fuel pressure guage and checked fuel pressure. It starts out and idles just under 5lbs pressure and when i rev fuel pressure drops to around 3 1/2 to 4 lbs pressure (Engine will not develope enough rpm to develope boost).
seems low to me, but I don't know what it is supposed to be. Can anyone help?

Where is your fuel pressure regulator hooked up for the vacuum/pressure signal? Your idle pressure seems just right. Do you have a WBO2 AFR gauge? What does your plugs tell you, lean/fat?
Cracked exhaust before the turbo? Leaking T's between the carbs feeding pressure to the float bowls?
Just a thought, it could be a restriction inside the intercooler, a rag or something, I know cause that happended to me, sled wouldn't rev past 5000 and broke up if I gave it any amount of throttle.

Sounds like exhaust or charge leak.

We had this problem on a stage 2 bender. Took the fuel preasure regulator apart to find it froze full of ice. Added a drip leg to it and thawed it out worked fine since. Maxdlx
