Does anyone know what size shutoff valves to get 1/4 or 5/16?
It looks like a fellow RX-1 owner lost his engine due to hydrolock
I will be installing the valves! Not taking any chances

shut offs are very easy to install, they are 1/4 " . Cost about 15.00 a shut off . ![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Need 2 per sled, right? Just took a quick peek, and there are two lines from the tank into the fuel pumps. Correct? And where did you mount them, above the clutch near the pumps? Looks like a good spot.
Sumpbuster yes you need two the closer you install them to the pumps the better i would think (less gas available to create this catastrophe)
do you want them before the pump or after?
Ger if you can get them after the pumps that would be great especialy for draining purposes, but i think before is fine too with them shut it puts a vacuum in the line that prevents the gas from flowing anyway. Access seems to be the biggest factor I like them next to the pumps nice and easy to get at.
Here's where you can install them.
