just got my 05 broke in the other day. reading 550 kms on the speedo went for a WOT pull, long enough for shift out for sure and read only about 9500 rpms. Is the full shift on these not around 10,200 and is this because the motor isn't loosened up yet? The conditions were not the problem here and the sled is bone stock with the exception of 5/16 washers in the helix.

I figured that but what is the shift out supposed to be when loosened?

On My 05 affter I got the first 50 miles on it,all stock, it would always top
10 000 rpm. At 500 miles I put on a CPR set up, now it's always over
10 000 in good conditions. Most of the time it's 10 200 - 10 400 and it pulls harder from a stop, all the way in to the mid. Is your secondary set in the stock 60-degree ? If it is you could try it at 70-degree, and see if the rpm comes up...

the rpm should come up when it loosens a little more its just over 300 miles now. I've been reading about guys wrapping the secondary the other way to 50 degrees. Anyone else have feedback on this?
