hi guys i am new to the show i just purchased a fx nitro a couple of weeks ago and took my cousin and his boss for a ride and the boss (bob) clipped a tree and did some damage twisted the front frame and broke the right nuckel. i saw it happen he just got the side of the ski but the other ski was planted on the trail well any way no parts till april has any one else having this trouble. 175 miles and gone till next year

Yes my subframe is Backordered until April 18th. 200 kms for the season and we have lots of snow. The subframe bending on my sled was totally my fault.

I bent my sub too. Same deal! Frame is back ordered. I was able to take the old one to a fab shop and have it bent back and braced... Top quality Job I think I can cancel my back order.

fx nitro parts

hey thanks for the input was it a hard job taking it apart like dose it need bushings to be pressed in or is it all just bolt on and line up i know i had to send in the vin # for the frame to be stamped. it's just a new sled and i would like all new parts also the shocks look bent from the frame twisting and the dealer says it will come back to normal when the new frame is on do i trust this

Mechanic I spoke with today said Yamaha called him and said they were trying to send my parts (sub frame) out today.
I asked him if it was the same thing or did Yamaha change them to make them stronger? and he didn't know.
My Nytro RTX has been at the dealer since 1/23 waiting on parts.
I may get to ride it 1 more day yet this season.

fx nitro parts

hi guy's was reading and wacthing video on yamaha and they have a next geration front end on the fx nitros this year i wonder if the new front frame is diffrent also we got a call our parts are in but with all the rain we got last week most of the trails are washed out. still plenty of snow just a lot of open water when i get my nitro fixed i will not take it out until there plenty of snow dont want to damage it again or maybe i will sell it and try a new one

I was at the show in W Yellowstone and the gentleman I spoke with from Yamaha said they were beefing up the subframe. It wasn't on the sleds at the show but will be on the production models.
