how strong are those running boards? how much of a beating do you think they would take in terms of jumping and landing in hard packed snow?

thanks in advanced

I plan to stiffen them up some. I am going to install some aluminum angle iron on the outside by the edge grip. This customer goes about 280 lbs and is not easy on stuff. The added support on the outside should make them plenty stiff to take a good pounding. I will post photos when I get it done as well.

Just finishing up the sled. I added a Powermadd Cargo Caddy to the rear of the tunnel and also added the aluminum angle iron to help stiffen up the better boards.

A few overall pics before adding the Powermadd cargo caddy.

How did your tunnel mod perform in the deep snow? I'm thinking of doing the same to my sled.

The tunnel worked alot better than stock. Less drag on the snow in the deep 'n steep and less chances of getting hung up!

Thanks for the reply. I have more questions if you have the time to answer. Were did you buy your guages? I like the way they are mounted. Do you have a picture that you can post of the gauges from the top view? I would like to see how long they are.
thanks again

The water temp or boost gauges are 2-1/16" Autometer Phantom gauges or VDO boost gauge. The air/fuel ratio gauge is a AEM UEGO. The gauge holders I have here at the shop.
