They said (on snowest) that it is pushing 260-270hp on 14lbs of boost. Thats their stage 2 kit. They said it rips.

TurboJamie just has a little case of dislexia (sp?) he meant FX Nytro, not Nytro FX (which there isn't any model designation of).

Yup Houked oN Phoniks wurked fur mE.

Sick little machine forsure. I would like to see/ride one of these babies and would be all over a kit for next year but the gas mileage boosted on 7.5 gallons of fuel scares me for our northern ontario riding.

I like that too, have already snow checked one, but not trying to be negitive thats 130HP stock 260HP at 14 lbs my math says 100% efficient with a SC don't think so but even 230HP on a 577lb full fuel load sled would be quite a ride! :flag:

Thats just what they are saying. Usually 1lb of boost is 10hp. The sled is rated around 137hp. I could see 260 at 14psi. The Apex makes 240-250 at 10psi and is 15hp more stock, but thats 4lbs of boost less

sled

The yamaha nytro is dynoed at 130 the race edition is 135 t0 135 . The apex mountain makes 260 hp at 12 lbs of boost which is 9.2 hp per pound so there numbers are a bit on the hi side.

Yeah seems a little healthy doesn't it. I have my fingers crossed MCX makes a kit for these babies!

guys the new mxz oower to weight is pretty good stock consider 156hp was seen on these engines bone stock and weight i think is 430ish that to me is pretty apealing considering you dont have to spend another 8000 bucks its stock. ok im braced now for the afternoon i know im gonna be slammed for saying it out loud,

Kevin, having now ridden both Im glad I am getting a nytro. Plus the modding capibility is way better.

you rode both? how did you like the brp model i need to soon make a decision for next year. my new ride will be stock just for northern long haul trips.
