Gas tank vent whistling?

It’s normal. The tank is meant to hold a certain pressure per EPA rules to keep vapors in.

When it vents it whistles as the air goes past the pressure relief built into the tank vent.

No worries.

X2. Temp changes will make it whistle also.

First thing when I picked up my sled from Excell....'this is normal'.
Every dealer should explain it, as it certainly raises questions.
