the sun came out..

Well after 4 feet of snow in 11 days the sun came out..We rode some cuts and hit our tracks and hit some stumps..Nothing broken.But we still need some snow for the cuts.The trails have no one on them.There is a 1 foot base on the trails in the haute gaspesie..The rest is still a little thin.The mountains have deep snow..1500 5-6....3000 6-7 feet..For those of you who use the blog on my site,there will be videos and also wicked pics to view..Jack

We got a bit of rain.The rain didnt do much to any trails except make them turn now to rock..Good base for the new snow...if and when we get it.Scratchers will be needed.The offtrail is now hard and crusted.Not worth riding.Will be sometime before we see this again.No snow till saturday and very little..jack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4vclPS9uog

We still have tons of snow at sealevel still..And we got 10cm from snow squalls and the mountains got more.More snow this weekend.There is no ridable snow from Montreal to Mattan..I drove the highway 20 and there was not really any ridable snow..Lots of grass and bare spots..They need snow..So if comming to quebec..go to gaspesie or ride the north shore of the SI Laurence river....this is in the yard at sealevel.. jack

We only got 10 cm from the big storm.But its been snow squalling all day and now we have 10 cm more.20 + so far..Still snowing,plus the 80-100 ks wind that is blowing snow everywhere..Looks like winter here.. jack

Weather bomb commin up the coast..N.B. east and east of gaspesie up to 30+..Last time they said this we got 100cm in the chic-chocs in the back of the Sled Den M-8 with 154..stuck on a road..lol..

Here is a Yamaha on the trails in the Gaspesie Mountains.And also my new friend from Maine..

The trails are hard but not all ice.The ice is a snow ice not hockey ice..We got 30 cm 3 days ago which closed the trails from 6-8 foot drifts.Need more snow for the cuts.. jack

The trails are a little bumpy..But theres lots of snow..This is a picture at 2400 feet..My son is 6-4..lol.. jack
