2003 RX-1ER--Broke the "finger" on the inner chaincase half that the tensioner pivots on. Anybody seen this before ? Maybe I had the chain tension to tight or loose ?It's supposed to be finger tight on the adjuster bolt right ? Was able to repair finger by tapping finger (as it is hollow!) & bolting from behind.Need to replace chain/ gears. Should I gear up or down from stock ? Don't want to give up any M.P.G. or to much top end, but as you know there can never be enough pull out of the corners ;)!
also where can I buy them & get them FAST - going back to the U.P. FRIDAY , I hope !

Stock, top gear is 24T. Warrior is 23T. I tried a 24 in my Warrior, nope 23 is better. I would try a 23 in yours. These motors can overrev, doubt you would lose any topend.

It's about 3 mph loss with the 23 vs the 24. Micro Belmont in Mich has all the gears you would want.
