[EDIT]

Deleted picture of dyno graph because Jason posted the correct link below, thank you Jason :D

I learned something J, the http// works if you put[url.] in front and [/url.] in back, minus the periods of course :D

Did everyone see how quick the hp falls off after 10,200 now this is funny why would yammi show a graph at 10,100 when it is clutched to turn 10,500 now the two sleds we tested in april both attak and apex ER turned right to 10,100 but quickly turned up to 10,400-10,500 at least thats what the tach showed, but maybe the torque shows better numbers 400 below its max peak, only time will tell!!!!

Yes, I did not understand that either, if they said it makes max hp at 10,500 why did,nt it go to their and show that.

Hi sxmatt, there torque numbers are not as high as the big twins period, but seat of the pants feels much much more, why because it has such a very wide wide back up torque curve, yammis torque is measured in thousands not hundreds like 2-strokes,what i am saying is where a 2-stroke has 2-500 ft.lbs of back up torque, yamaha with this 4-stroke is 1,500 -2,000 rpms of near peak torque, thats unheard on in any 2-stroke.. I remember seeing torque numbers from cpr dyno sheet a couple of years, and way down around 5,000 rpms it was around 70 ft.lbs at engagement if i remember correct, maybe Jeff will enlighten us,my point is the torque stays flat for many rpms,so when you let of the throttle and nail it again coming out of a very tight corner you got a lot of torque at hand NOW,and it feels like. ;)!
