Ok I’m setting up my sled for the season,
I always understood the rule of thumb when you sit on the sled the rear arm in the suspension should be centered between the 2 stop blocks, but even with the adjusters on H the arm bottoms out on the stop block.

But then others are saying that a large amount of sag in the rear end is what I want, and this is a good thing.

No matter the style of riding shouldn’t I have the ride height set so that the arm is centered between the stop blocks?

I know suspension set up has been beaten like a dead horse, but just simply confused on what way is correct.

If you setup your suspension in the middle you will be fighting the skids tendency to rest against the blocks.$ wasted.Biggest reason for this is stiction.Everywhere.If you completely disassemble your skid, clean everything and ensure it is in perfect order the sag will be gone and arm will be in middle. This will last maybe one or two rides and it will be right back where it was.

So tune the suspension where it is 90% of time.It can be done and will be just as good as a suspension without the huge sag.In my opinion better since the sag gets the sled lower and helps high C.O.G.
