I am thinking about buying a Apex with 8700 miles on it. Very well taken care of with a/m skid. Sweet looking sled with a lot of miles left in her. I think for the most part we just want a new sled (or something different) from time to time.

Im sorry, but that is horrible advice. Im glad that your machine made it 16K without doing any preventative maintenance, but not everyone is willing to take such a gamble.

We ride during the week and don't see other sleds to speak of. One day we went 75 miles and the wife rolled her's on a sharp downhill corner with ice. It went down the side of the hill. It took us over an hour to winch and jack ( I carry both for this reason) us out. Still no one for another hour when riding back.
Don't want to blow a bearing or what ever and have to leave the sled. Her LTX won't tow it far I bet. The Attak is too heavy.
Although it seems to want to keep running issue free for another 9k
