A local guy has a GGB trail can and a D&D Barker can up for sale, both are used with about 400 miles on each of them. He is asking $250 cdn each. I am considering buying one of them but don't know which one would be better for my stock '15 STX-DX. Does one of these cans have any advantages to the other? Which one sounds better and or adds any horsepower? Let me know which you would choose or not and why..
thanks in advance

I have the GGB trail can and my buddy has the D&D can. I drove his sled and the D&D can sound alot better than my can. The GGB can is very very loud !!!The D&D is more money new and you can take it apart to repack it.

Hey thanks Dan, I had checked out the D&D website and they have 2 models, from the picture it looks like the one he has for sale is the BigDog barker but it doesn't say it comes apart to repack. There is also one called a Quiet Tech, do you know what model your friend has and did you guys have to adjust your clutches or anything for these mufflers?

We both had to add more weight to tip of our clutch weights .We both were hitting rev limiters on take off. I call him , he has the stainless steel one, not the quiet tech.

Hey thanks Dan, is there an easy and affordable way to weight the tip of clutch weights? Where did you get the parts and the info to know how to do it?

If it's the oval barker, I sold mine because it was too darn loud

I have the GGB trail can and yes it is very loud for a trail can ..
