what are most guy's using to grease their sleds ? i like red lithum grease but i cant remember if i need #1 or #2 :yam:

nice. I have thought about doing that. Just haven't yet. That would probably make the front ends of these last forever i am sure.

Did you drill top? bottom? side? any issue with water being forced in?

i use lucas green CV joint grease in everything. sleds trucks quads trailers, u name it. real good stuff. never ever had a bearing failure with anything i have used it on. it does not freeze. it is extreme pressure.
everything you ever wanted in a grease and more. and its about 10 bucks a tube. can be found at just about any decent autoparts store

power-up thixo grease. 14 dollars a tube but worth it. its incredible stuff! or else john deere full synthetic. its clear, food grade(yes you can eat it) stick your finger in it at -40 just the same as when its plus 20 outside. john deere full syn is also around 12 or 13 a tube. in the course of a season we use 1.5 tubes between 5 sleds. phazer has like 5 zerks, and the 2010's have a few more then the 08's. before i grease the sleds they sit in the garage for at least 2 days. you'd be amazed how much water comes out of the upper rear mount everytime on each sled!!
