Grease?

Do you put grease on the metal end caps on the zx2 mounting shafts? The manual states to install caps, no mention of grease. I know it's maintenence free but thats metal on metal

Same.... Good qeustion, but I think that the shafts rotate on the plastic.. Not sure....
