I picked up a 2017 leftover this fall from a far away dealer who was very accommodating but knew I wouldn't be driving 4.5 hours for service when needed. I got hooked up with excel motorsports in Hubbardsville, NY because they were closer. I dropped in with my sled and they put mod/stock muffler, belt adjuster, and some other goodies on the sled. My sled has performed less than impressive since day one, I have few posts trying to search out gremlins. It always took of well, then flattened out to blah, even with some powerup parts. Last week I'd had it as I could barely run with and 850 or 800 poo, they could have their way with me on any straight away. I took sled to Excel and they went to work, pushed everything else aside and they hadn't seen this, even running against another winder there mine was complete dog. I left it there thinking I'd see it in a week or so maybe, very disappointed with Yamaha. I got call next day, Aron said we got it fixed. All of the power problems were due to a piece of plastic clogging the elbow on the return line going in to the fuel tank, was causing sled to run pig rich all the time, explained my terrible mileage. Well home now, Had my way with the 800 poo when I dropped it off the trailer. 850 next! These guys at Excel motorsports run a great shop and treat ya like you're there family. I would have to say as long as I ride a Yamaha or a Polaris, I don't believe I'd go anywhere else for sales and service. Dealers like this are what keeps the industry alive!

Can we move this dealer to northern Ontario?

They are about 2 hours from me. Do they flash sleds? What tunes do they use? I have heard good things about them!!

Glad they got you all fixed up! Let us know if you're still friends with the 850 guy when you're done with him.

Agreed! My sled was set up perfectly, grease in every fitting, perfect ski alignment, etc. Just needed to make some suspension adjustments to my liking, and curve skis, which I am familiar with and like best. Runs like a monster from .5 miles, and just gets stronger! Oh, almost forgot...I started by being nice to our 05 vector and 06 apex, for plugs, donuts on the vector, carb balance...they ran fine, but they both feel like new again, as they checked everything out. Great people, imo. Leaving with a new sidewinder too really wasn't the plan..lol!

Just think it's important to give credit where it's due when it comes to dealers.
