well.. i have'nt been on here at all for the last six weeks.. was gone . well anyways while i was gone some idiot (whose head isn't screwed on prop..) SOMEHOW got permission to drive my grizz. and crashed it into 3 trees at a pretty fast speed. i'm guessing. and it tore up the lower right a-arm front bumper. fender and front drive axle boot cover , punctured a brake hose and bent the rear rack touching the tire.. anyways. we got it fixed but when ever i go too slow down it vears to the right ,the side it hit,and i can't figure it out.. ... it goes perfectly straight when accel and just riding but when i let go of the gas it vears ... and the alignment is perfectly straight ... ??????????????

the tire pressure is set to 4psi in each front and 3.5 in rear.. i tried to check some of the obvious ones. but you can never be too sure..

Maybe a wheel bearing is froze up. When you let off it pulls it to the right or left.

but if the wheel bearing froze wouldn't it not spin correctly when spinning it by hand when its jacked up?

You are right, it wouldn't spin when it's jacked up if it was a bearing. I was just trying to think of something that may be causing your problem.

you check the toe on the front tires? i have seen tie rod tubes strech and their related componets

yea the wheels werent' aligned and the toe on the right was out? the bottom of the tire sticks out more than the left tire. so i looked at the tie rod and it was not the same length as the left so i adjusted it and tried driving it although it got much better the vearing is still there when ever i let go of the gas ..anything else??? or maybe its just something i have to live with... :o|

check the upper control rods as well. both tires should be square to each other top and bottom. that is part of the alignment. some times its mounted on an eccentric so it is adjustable to help adjust your caster and camber. supposed to mirror each other side to side.

i had six pounds when i first got these tires but the tire was Way too hard and bounced sometimes. so i lowered it to 4 and its still very firm but doesn't bounce. ... once a friend let almost all air out of one tire as a joke but i almost didn't even realize that the tire was low on air.

Sounds like you may have a caster or camber adjustment problem, We exagerate the caster and camber settings on the race car to get it to turn left,sounds like you have the same condition. Make sure your front wheels are at 90 degrees to the ground, and you spindle is close to straight up and down(front to back) I could check my service manual to get exact settings if you need.

Hey vipeboy What did you come up with on your steering condition???????????

:die =============== :jump: ================== :nos

it appears that the caster camber is off because the bottom of the right tire sticks out sorta like |-\ but how in the world do i get that adjusted?
