Hey all,
I bought an FX for my son last year and just sold my wife's sled. Sheis interested in a left over Red GT. I found one for $5806 plus tax.
Good price?
Why is the FX & GT priced the same? The shock package on the FX should be enough to make the FX price higher. The cosmetic and track differances seem to be a wash to me. Any comments on this?

Yes that is a pretty good price, I know some dealers where advertising the phazer FX & GT's at about 5500$ at the end of last year, but that is when they were trying to get rid of them and with the snow coming the prices will go up a bit. As far as difference between the regular phazer, the FX and the GT. The regular phazer has the gas cell hydraulic shocks, the GT has KYB HPG aluminum shocks in the front and regular KYB HPG in the rear, and the FX has 40mm HPG, Piggyback Clicker, Compression and Rebound in the front and KYB HPG, Aluminum in the rear. I know that GT is lowered a bit, and has 1 inch less travel in the front suspension. The FX and GT are also probably sprung different in the rear as well. GT has wind deflectors, taller windshield straight from the factory. As far as why it is priced the same I guess I believe it is worth a bit more than the regular phazer, but probably not as much as the FX, but yamaha seemed to think they are worth the same. I got this info from the yamaha site. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/produ ... mpare.aspx
