Guess how much the new Apex weighs

like somebody already said, 9 days and all will be clear. can't wait, my 06 gt is finally fun to ride, after following a lot of tips from here, if the new sled can get rid of all the tinkering and adjusting right out of the blocks, and has a little more power, and a little less weight, i'm in.
X2 :-o

You guys really think the EPS adds 5 LBS or less??? (yeah right)
Take a look at that motor, bracketry, and extra supports to house the new system. I understand Yamaha doesn't list different weights for EPS and Non-EPS ATV's, but that doesn't mean it doesn't weigh something, unless the EPS system just looks like metal components and is actually made of styrofoam.
When BRP released info on their EPS system for ATV's, they said their system weighed 13.6 LBS, which was within 0.5 LBS of their LIGHTEST competition. (Yamaha and honda were the only ones who had EPS at the time)
Guess we'll have to wait til' a mag or independant source puts an 11' on the scale to find out the final #'s. Regardless, she will feel lighter, and that's what Yamaha was going for with this Trail sled. I really would like to ride one!

Don't you think that if there was any weight reduction at all, Yamaha would be plastering that all over the intro... BUT not a peep about lower weight !!! Hmmmmm
