Got an 08 Vector and wondering if the hand warmers will be adequate. Anyone using hand guards to better protect hands from the wind? Appreciate any help, thanks!
Most of the Vectors are pretty warm as a group.
No guarantees yours is, but you have good odds.
Best bet is to test it in the garage.
Set the warmers to the highest setting, then let it run at idle until the temp (Wait to ride) light goes out. (3-5 minutes)
They should be nice and toasty (hot) by then!
If they don't get warm in your garage, they won't get warm in the cold!

you will probably find that when its cold that are not warm enough. i have an 09 and the stock warmers suck. last year in 10 degree weather my hands froze.your best bet for warm hands is rocks yamahaheater. i have it and it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more cold hands.i just ordered a pair of soft hand deflectors just to keep the wind off. they should help.
