Installed new rsi hand warmers last year near the end of the year. They worked great, second time out this year and they are stuck on full heat. Handlebar adjuster does nothing. Low high mid nothing changes it just full on melt down to the point it was melting the grips. We are on a trip so had to cut the wires for now. So is it possible it's the switch on the handlebar?

i have seen them get corrosion on the contacts in the switches before. i usually take them apart and clean them.

From other threads sounds like the corrosion can affect them both ways. Hand warmers on full blast and thumb wer off. My son drives the sled, so I will get him to clean it up and give it a go. Thanksi have seen them get corrosion on the contacts in the switches before. i usually take them apart and clean them.

Didn't work, thinking I'm just going to replace the block.
