What handguards are people using with the medium windshield? I have a 2007 apex RTX and want to replace the stock handguards because they are bent. My sled also has the 06 bars on it. I dont want them to hit the windsheild when the bars are turned. Ideas anyone?

Same here on a '08 APEX LTX, but use the POWERMADD mounting hardware on APEX they fit better, I ordrered a set of ROX billet hardware, looks real good but don't fit the h$!!, so I ended up having to order POWERMADD mounting hardware!
I also have the mirrors mounted on them too and work very well.
p.s '06 bars are different I beleive...'07 & '08 are the new straight style bars.

I have the Powermadd hand guards with the optional mirrors on my 07 Apex GT. I also have the Powermadd (Cobra) mid height windshield.
The hand guards do touch the windshield but only at full lock. I used the Powermadd mounting hardware which works well except for a slight interference with the parking brake lever.

I slid the brake lever assembly away from the grip just enough to install the Powermadd mounting bracket (curved bracket) with the curve going up and over the brake lever.
I have the Powermadd bracket spun down as low as possible (touching the brake lever pivot) and my parking brake lever will contact the Powermadd bracket keeping it from going all the way to the grip but still enough to fully engage the parking brake.
