Bought a Papa windshield and it came with the support struts. Really didn't want to use the struts. Install the windshield without them. First ride out at around 80mph the shield bent down and at 90mph the nose of the windshield mount popped out. Came up with some ideas to ease the stress on the pod and keep the shield from popping out.
Made up an aluminum piece that screws onto the headlight itself and slides into a slit I made in the airbox. Also reinforced the headlight pod mounts with some bolts and spacers.
