Looking for a wider set of handlebars for more leverage. What have other people used. Anyone install Fabcraft bars? If so which one 2" or 4" rise and 5 degree or 15 degree pull back? How did cables work out?

Thanks

I put some Artic cat M1 bars on mine with 3 inch risers. The bars are 2 inches wider and about a half inch taller with a stiffiner bar where you need it. The bars cost $60.00 and all I did was put 2004 My Viper throtttle cable on, cost $17.95. 3 inch riser cost $29.00. I like it and feels alot better. I am 6' 7" tall.
Everyone likes differen't set ups but this set up was fairly inexpensive and I do like it.

What year of RX are you working with? The '05 bars are wider and taller.

I put the Fabcraft 4" bars with 5 deg. pullback on my Mountain Max. Also added SLP hooks with their comfort grips for a 1 pc. look. I'm very happy with them. When you put the hooks on they recommend that you cut 1/2 to 1" off each end, but I left them as is and they are plenty wide.

I also put the 4" Fabcraft bars with 5 degrees on my mod Viper. They were perfect for standup riding along with the Rox 3.5" riser.

I just got back from Revy, have a 5" risers with Fabcraft bars 15/15, worked great on the 1ton, only had to lengthen the throttle cable.

Thanks Red, that's the info I was looking for.
I ordered up the 15/15 Fabcraft also, in a custom width.
How long of a cable did you have to use and where did you get it?

Red, am I correct in assuming that the brake hose, parking brake cable, choke cable and wiring were all long enough?

The only cable that I had to lengthen was the throttle cable. For now I am using a power madd extender. Looks like #$%&* , but works. I here that Linc from B.C. had some custom cables 6" longer made, but not in yet. Wiring was okay, choke okay. The brake line needs to be rerouted, must remove bolt from overflow tank and route the parking cable under the hoses instead of the top. Have close to a 1000kms in the moutains with this setup seems to work okay for me.

riser

I used the kit from fly it was a sevan inch riser was very easy to install seems very well put toghether and had no problem with the stock cables everything worked fine i also used a new set of fly bars which are a little bit wider and straighter and a rigid mountian bar from wps the kit worked great i wish i would have used it on my mm instead of a riser block.

I installed a rox riser on my 04 Mtn, I believe its 2 inches ,real happy with the set up. Would like to have the end of the bars a bit more straight out but it works fine for now. In last two weeks I've ridden everything from 3 foot powder to 2 inch road ice and feel it really helped the handling.

For you guys that have installed the 1M cat bars. What are you doing with all the wires and any thing else that is hinden under the piece of form. Also are you still able to use the handwarmers controls? If anybody has a picture of installed 1M bars on a RX, I would appreciate it.

I put the 5 deg FC bars on my RMK and hated them. I like the quality but the were too straight. Will go with the 15's on the RX and see how they go.

Rox riser and bars for a yz dirtbike.Higher and straighter than stock with tons of leverage. All the stock cables worked fine just removed the holder at the clamp.Tough to hide all the wires in that little pad.Handle bars $60 riser $80.lots of adjustability with the rox riser too.
