Hello,
Is it possible to extend a 137 skid to 146? I have a 18 SW LTX LE and would like more track for off trail riding.
Thanks.

The 146 Cross-Action skid in the Riot looks a lot like the Slide-Action Dual Shock SR from the front to the rear arm. Then there is no rod with transfer blocks and the rear wheels are farther back. I would not extend tunnel, only make the flap removable.

Has anyone ever used tracks usa rail extensions to convert a 137 to 146?

Not sure if it helps, but my 2020 xtx has the same length tunnel as the 153.

Yeah I wouldn’t be extending the tunnel just rails

I am doing the switch this year. From 137" rip2 1;25 to 146" cobra 1;35

My plan was to use 141" rails but they need more modifications than i was expecting to have exact 137" geometry ...:-/.
I will do the "real thing "next summer. This year it's gonna be rails extensions.

@SnoNinja did his turbo viper. Custom rails using all 137 components and keeping 137 geometry.

146" RR 2,1...lol

Almost ready for action ....
-Stronger reinforced front arm, grease zerk relocate at the right place
-full steel cross shaft +210mm bolts
-bop front tunnel plates whit bolts
-bop inside tunnel saver plate
-bop chaincase protector
-bop hose protector
-yamaha skid plate
-mainway bushingsss
-grip’n rip steering bushing spacer:oops:
-bumper has been reinforced inside tunnel
-heat exchanger mounted on bolts and RUBBER washer
- JT&T wheel kit
-Avid wheel outside whit 6304bearing
-RR bigger upper wheel
-18,5 lbs rear spring (viper2015)
-racewrex modified coupler block

Can’t wait to give her a slap:ban:

@Byam which rails?
steel shat DIY?
Rails extensions for this year!
I will do my 141" rails this summer to accept 10" rear wheels

Yess DIY cross shaft 4041HT steel :)

I am gona need to modify the jt&t outside wheel block ....extension thickness!!!
Wheel have to go in 5/7 mm to be straight whit others

Byam, have you collapsed it all the way? It appears like it will be very close to contacting the snow flap.
Nice track choice, I like the 1.35 Cobra

Yes sir ! The 148":bump:track will not fit ....

I was on the fence to go 144" 2;52 or 146" ... I have had a very good deal for the 146"

Old thread, but @byamhow did you like them rail extensions? Been riding with a buddy with a 146 xtx and was debating extending mine.
