I bought a GGB trail muffler for my Viper, it was used and a really good deal. I really wanted it so i could have better access to the chain case , less heat and less weight. I don't like the deep echo sound when idling. I don't find it as loud when on the throttle. Would wrapping the muffler quiet it down at all ?
I think it would. Plus keep some heat out of hood. Been meaning to do that myself but went back to stockgutted since been riding alot and cant stand the loud cans after a long day riding.
